Quanta Services reported third-quarter revenue of $12.01 billion on Oct. 29, 2026, up from $7.63 billion a year earlier, and raised its full-year outlook as demand expanded across its infrastructure business.
The company’s results release reported net income attributable to common stock of $694.9 million, compared with $339.4 million. Reported diluted earnings per share were $4.55, while adjusted diluted earnings were $6.06 per share.
Revenue outlook rises
Quanta now expects full-year revenue of $41.3 billion to $41.6 billion. That range is management guidance, not revenue already earned. StockStory reported 57.4% year-over-year quarterly revenue growth and noted the higher revenue outlook.
Quanta said acquired businesses contribute to consolidated results from their acquisition dates. The headline growth rate therefore should not be read as a measure of organic expansion alone.
Backlog is not current revenue
The company reported total backlog of $63.7 billion and remaining performance obligations of $41.8 billion. These are distinct measures of future work, not additional sales to add to the quarter’s revenue.
For utility, power-generation and infrastructure customers, the report provides a current view of a major contractor’s scale and commitments. It does not establish when an individual project will be completed or what capacity is available for a new assignment. Those questions still require project-specific schedules and agreements rather than an inference from aggregate financial figures.
