Reddit reported Oct. 29 that third-quarter advertising revenue increased 54% to $847 million, outpacing audience growth, while its holiday-quarter revenue forecast fell below analyst expectations.

Total revenue reached $895 million, up 53% from a year earlier, according to the company earnings release. Other revenue increased 35% to $48 million. The results cover the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026.

Advertising grows faster than audience

Reddit reported 130.3 million daily active uniques, up 12% year over year, and 515.2 million weekly active uniques, up 16%. These are separate company audience measures and should not be added together.

Net income was $283 million, while adjusted EBITDA was $402 million. The company reported that net income increased 74% from the same quarter a year earlier. The adjusted figure is a non-GAAP measure, not an alternative label for net income. Operating cash flow reached $364 million.

Holiday forecast trails expectations

Reddit projected fourth-quarter revenue of $1 billion to $1.03 billion. Investing.com reported that the $1.015 billion midpoint was below a Wall Street estimate of $1.05 billion, even though third-quarter revenue exceeded expectations of $874.9 million.

The forecast describes management expectations, not completed holiday advertising sales. For brands and agencies, the figures provide a current view of platform scale and commercial growth. They do not establish the incremental purchases, conversion quality or return generated by a particular campaign; those questions require advertiser-level measurement.
