ZoomInfo announced a native integration with Exa on Oct. 23, 2026, giving shared customers a new route to use its company and contact information inside AI-agent research workflows. The connector extends distribution of ZoomInfo’s business data through Exa Connect rather than requiring users to work exclusively within ZoomInfo’s interface.

According to ZoomInfo’s announcement, the integration supports prospecting, data enrichment and account research. Developers can also access its intelligence through the GTM.AI application programming interface and Model Context Protocol server.

Access requires an arrangement with Exa

Exa’s own Connect page lists ZoomInfo as an available sales-intelligence provider, with access enabled on request. It distinguishes that route from providers customers can activate immediately through self-service tools. ZoomInfo likewise says the connector is available to mutual customers, with access arranged through Exa.

That distinction matters for revenue-operations teams planning a deployment. An announced connector is not the same as unrestricted access for every Exa user; teams need to establish their access before building a workflow around it.

Business data moves into agent workflows

ZoomInfo describes GTM.AI as the API and MCP access layer for its business-intelligence graph. The company says connected surfaces receive controls covering permissions, data lineage and audit logging. Those are vendor descriptions, not an independent security assessment.

The practical change is an additional connection between external research and company-and-contact information. It does not by itself establish that an agent will identify the right buyer, produce accurate outreach or improve sales conversion. Those outcomes would require evaluation within the customer’s own process, beyond confirming that the connector returns data.
