BURBANK, Calif. — The Walnut Fire burning in Wildwood Canyon prompted evacuations and closed hillside recreation facilities Saturday, Aug. 8, while Burbank canceled a sold-out concert at the Starlight Bowl as firefighters attacked the vegetation fire.
Early incident information attributed to ALERTCalifornia reported mandatory evacuation orders for the DeBell Golf Course and restaurant complex and the Stough Canyon Nature Center.
