Ramp announced a $1.85 billion primary financing round on Oct. 15, 2026, valuing the company at $60 billion as it broadens its financial-operations software and adds tools for managing AI spending.
Rapid News Brief: Dragoneer Investment Group led the round, with Thrive Capital, Founders Fund, Sands Capital and Avenir Growth as co-leads, according to the company. The valuation describes the financing, not revenue or cash raised.
Revenue and payment volume are different measures
In its announcement, Ramp says annualized revenue exceeded $2 billion and cash flow was positive. Its revenue definition includes interchange, subscription, interest and other revenue, excluding customer incentives.
The annualized figure should not be presented as revenue already earned over a completed fiscal year. Positive cash flow, likewise, is not the same assertion as net profit under a specified accounting standard.
Ramp separately reports more than 85,000 customers and over $275 billion in annualized purchase volume. Purchase volume measures spending flowing through its platform, not revenue retained by Ramp.
A broader software proposition
SiliconANGLE’s Oct. 15 reporting describes Ramp’s expansion beyond corporate cards and expense management into other software categories. Its coverage identifies Router, a service for routing requests among AI models, and Glass, a workspace for sharing prompts and searching business records.
Those products broaden the company’s competitive scope. They do not, by themselves, establish that a customer should consolidate existing software around Ramp or that switching will produce a particular saving.
For finance leaders, the consequential development is a well-funded supplier moving further across financial and AI workflows. Product fit still depends on the organization’s controls, integrations and costs, rather than the financing valuation.
Ramp’s operating figures remain company-reported measures. The financing announcement does not replace customer-specific testing or an independent assessment of the claimed business outcomes.
The company says the round brings total equity financing to approximately $5 billion. That cumulative fundraising figure is separate from the $1.85 billion announced in this transaction.
