Pigment announced a $250 million Series E financing at a $2.3 billion valuation on Oct. 21, 2026, adding capital for engineering and AI development in business planning software. The company described Nvidia’s investment as planned, rather than completed participation.
The company announcement names Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, as lead investor. Other participants include World Innovation Lab and existing investors Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP and Meritech.
Capital for engineering
Pigment says the money will support research and development and a larger engineering team focused on its Graphite compute engine and AI agents. Those are intended uses of capital, not evidence that the hiring or development work has already been completed.
The company also says annual recurring revenue exceeded $100 million earlier this year and doubled from a year earlier. Those figures are company-reported; recurring revenue is not the same measure as cash raised or valuation.
Product ambitions remain distinct from results
In a separate founders’ post, co-CEOs Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli describe a goal of having AI build forecasts, run scenarios, revise plans and act within customer-set guardrails.
They identify the Modeler Agent, which they say builds planning models from natural-language instructions, among capabilities already shipped. They describe a Planner Agent for end-to-end planning cycles as the next step, not an established completed rollout.
For enterprise customers, the financing strengthens the supplier’s development resources. It does not by itself establish forecast accuracy, operational savings or the readiness of a particular agent for an individual business process.
