International Assembly will hold its all-day creative conference in Glasgow on Nov. 12, 2026, bringing branding, animation and creative coding into the same programme. For design and brand leaders, the confirmed lineup offers a way to examine how visual identities work as systems rather than isolated logos.

The organizer lists Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as the venue, with the conference scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Design-events publication Neon Moiré separately lists the Nov. 12 date and describes it as an in-person event.

This preview draws on the published programme. It does not assume that a participant will announce a new product, reveal a particular client project or endorse a common creative method.

Different practices, a shared commissioning question

The organizer’s lineup includes transformation consultancy COLLINS, 3D artist and animation director Eva Cremers, and graphic designer and illustrator Bráulio Amado. It also lists Coding Systems, the practice led by Tim Rodenbröker and Martin Lorenz, whose work combines creative coding with flexible visual systems.

Those practices represent different kinds of deliverables. An animated world, a graphic composition and a code-driven identity can all contribute to a brand, but they create different requirements for production and maintenance.

For a commissioning team, the useful question is not simply which style feels current. It is what has to remain consistent as an identity moves between applications, and who will be responsible for making the system work after its initial presentation.

From a visual idea to repeated use

The programme also names FISK, whose listed disciplines span branding, typography, digital design, packaging and physical experiences. Graphic designer and art director Shamma Buhazza is included for work across typography, visual identity and creative direction.

Their inclusion provides a reason to consider the connections between media, not evidence that every presentation will cover implementation. A conference lineup describes the perspectives available; it does not supply a completed operating manual for a brand team.

As a practical lens for the event, executives can distinguish the original creative concept from the rules and assets that let other people use it. A highly adaptable identity may still need clear limits, while a tightly controlled system may need enough room to accommodate motion, different formats and new content.

What the event can and cannot establish

Both the organizer and Neon Moiré say the live event will not be recorded. The organizer also describes an adjoining festival marketplace with pop-up stores and partners. Those are confirmed features of the event format, not promises of commercial outcomes for participants.

The business value to watch is the reasoning behind creative decisions: how a practice defines a problem, chooses a medium and explains what should carry across applications. Attendance alone cannot establish that a particular approach will improve recognition, sales or customer experience.

For teams planning future commissions, the programme’s breadth is the relevant news. It places strategic branding beside image-making and software-based design, making the handoff between creative disciplines a useful question before the conference opens.
