Figma raised its 2026 revenue forecast Nov. 4 after reporting 43% third-quarter sales growth, setting a higher annual target for the design software company as it continues investing in AI capabilities.
Revenue reached $391.4 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30. That exceeded the $373 million to $375 million range Figma had projected in its Aug. 5 earnings release.
A higher outlook, with losses remaining
Figma now expects annual revenue of $1.497 billion to $1.499 billion, compared with the $1.463 billion to $1.467 billion range it issued in August. Its fourth-quarter revenue forecast is $402 million to $404 million.
The company reported a $119.2 million operating loss under generally accepted accounting principles. Non-GAAP operating income was $47 million, excluding stock-based compensation and other adjustments detailed in the release.
How the June quarter compares
Figma’s second-quarter report showed revenue of $370.1 million, up 48% from a year earlier. The latest quarter therefore had slower year-over-year revenue growth despite beating the company’s own sales forecast.
GAAP gross margin was 80% in the September quarter, compared with 84% in June. In the second quarter, Figma reported a $117.3 million GAAP operating loss and $36.1 million in non-GAAP operating income.
Figma scheduled its results call for 5 p.m. Eastern time Nov. 4. This report advances NextNow’s pre-earnings preview with the newly released figures.
