CrowdStrike and Dynatrace announced Nov. 2 three integrations connecting cybersecurity and operational monitoring data, offering enterprise teams a way to investigate incidents across systems without treating every data source as a separate workflow.
The companies said the integrations are available immediately. They announced the partnership at Fal.Con Europe in Barcelona and said they are deploying each other’s technologies within their own environments.
Connecting investigations and telemetry
One integration lets CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform search Dynatrace logs and observability data through federated queries. The companies say that approach gives security investigators application and infrastructure context without requiring duplicate data ingestion.
A second combines CrowdStrike endpoint security information with Dynatrace application, infrastructure and log insights. A third uses Bindplane by Dynatrace to route logs and other telemetry between the platforms.
The stated benefits include faster investigations and lower data costs. Those are company claims, not independently verified savings or a guarantee that a particular customer can replace an existing security information and event management system without additional work.
Broadening the observability business
The partnership follows Dynatrace’s Oct. 1 completion of its acquisition of Arize, an AI observability and evaluation company. That separate transaction added capabilities for examining model and agent behavior, with integration into Dynatrace planned over time.
The two developments address different needs: Arize concerns AI evaluation and observability, while the new CrowdStrike relationship connects security and operational telemetry. For enterprise buyers, the business consequence is a broader set of connected investigation tools, with deployment requirements and actual operating benefits still needing customer-specific evaluation.
