Asure Software reported Oct. 29, 2026, that third-quarter recurring revenue rose 16% to $36.9 million, outpacing total sales growth as the payroll and human resources software company expanded distribution and narrowed its net loss.

Rapid News Brief — Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 reached $40 million, up 10% from $36.3 million a year earlier. The net loss narrowed to $600,000 from $5.4 million, according to Asure’s results release.

Recurring sales take a larger share

Recurring revenue accounted for approximately 92% of quarterly sales, compared with 88% a year earlier. Sales classified as professional services, hardware and other declined to $3.1 million from $4.4 million. The figures show a change in revenue mix, not uniform growth across every business line.

Chief Executive Pat Goepel said total organic revenue grew 9% and organic recurring revenue increased 14%. He linked the latter to AsureCentral and Payroll Tax Management in the earnings-call transcript published by Investing.com. Those product-growth explanations are management’s attribution.

Asure also reported wider distribution through Oracle Marketplace and an Amazon Web Services marketplace relationship. Access to a channel does not by itself establish how many customers have purchased through it.

For the first nine months, total revenue increased 18% to $119.9 million; the net loss narrowed to $4.4 million from $13.9 million.

October purchase enters the outlook

The company’s quarterly filing describes an Oct. 15 purchase of assets from a southeastern U.S. payroll-processing business for $26.5 million. Consideration included $13.5 million in cash, shares with an agreed value of $10 million and a $3 million promissory note.

That transaction occurred after the reported quarter. Asure said its guidance incorporates the acquisition: it expects fourth-quarter revenue of $42 million to $44 million and 2027 revenue of $183 million to $187 million.

Adjusted EBITDA reached $10.5 million in the third quarter, versus $8.1 million a year earlier. That non-GAAP measure is separate from the reported net loss. For employers evaluating payroll suppliers, the results provide context on Asure’s scale and expansion plans, not a guarantee of service quality or a replacement for vendor diligence.
