Serve Robotics launched Physical AI Services on Nov. 5, 2026, making technology developed for its own robot fleets available to other builders. The expansion adds an external technology-supplier business alongside its delivery operations.
Connectivity and fleet data
Serve describes three offerings. Serve Link connects machines with off-board models, monitoring and training systems. Serve Data Curator selects useful or unusual events from fleet data for training. A separate catalog provides real-world data drawn from Serve’s sidewalk deployments, including examples of terrain and infrastructure.
The company named Bedrock Robotics as a launch customer for Serve Link. Serve said the construction-technology company uses the service to connect autonomous machines across Wi-Fi, cellular and satellite networks. The announcement does not identify Bedrock as a buyer of all three offerings.
A construction customer, not another delivery fleet
Bedrock’s own business illustrates the different operating setting. In an Oct. 26 announcement, it described technology that retrofits existing heavy construction equipment, starting with excavators, rather than requiring contractors to replace their fleets with newly manufactured autonomous machines.
Bedrock said its autonomous excavators had been doing paid work on commercial sites since mid-August. It also announced a $600 million Series C financing round, co-led by CapitalG and Emergence Capital, to scale deployments and strengthen the teams needed to support customer sites. Those are Bedrock’s descriptions of its business, not independent findings about equipment performance or safety.
A separate revenue question
Serve’s third-quarter results, also released Nov. 5, put the expansion in financial context. For the three months ended Sept. 30, revenue was $2.835 million, compared with $3.238 million in the June quarter and $687,000 a year earlier.
The company reported a GAAP net loss of $59.23 million. Its quarterly software-services category should not be read as revenue from the newly announced platform. The services launch came after the reporting period; neither announcement quantified a revenue contribution from the new business.
