How Updates Are Labeled
Material changes should be disclosed in an update or correction note on the article. An updated timestamp may be used when new reporting changes or expands the story.
Minor Changes
Spelling, grammar, formatting and typographical corrections that do not change the meaning of a story may be made without a formal correction note.
Process status: Response times and the final correction-review workflow remain under editorial review.
