UPS raised its full-year revenue and adjusted earnings outlook on Oct. 27, 2026, after reporting higher third-quarter sales, giving retailers and other shippers a new financial update ahead of the holiday delivery season.
The company reported revenue of $22.9 billion, up 6.7% from a year earlier. Operating profit was $1.7 billion under generally accepted accounting principles, compared with $2.1 billion on its adjusted basis.
Separate reported earnings from the outlook
GAAP diluted earnings were $1.37 a share, while adjusted diluted earnings were $1.69. UPS reported a $279 million net charge that included transformation costs and a Supply Chain Solutions goodwill impairment, partly offset by an asset-sale gain.
For 2026, UPS now projects approximately $92.6 billion in revenue and adjusted diluted earnings of $7.28 a share. Reuters reported that those forecasts compare with July projections of $91.2 billion and $7.22, respectively. The revised figures are company expectations, not completed full-year results.
UPS said U.S. domestic revenue increased 4.5%, with revenue per package rising 6.1%. That measure describes revenue earned per shipment; it is not a measure of faster delivery.
The distinction matters for business customers: improved financial expectations do not themselves change a shipping contract or establish service performance on a specific route. Holiday planning still requires attention to the carrier’s actual service commitments and the customer’s delivery requirements.
