Mave disclosed $34 million in funding on Oct. 22, 2026, as it emerged from stealth with software intended to connect enterprise security tools and automate parts of threat investigation and response. The financing backs product development, AI research and international expansion.
Rapid News Brief — The total includes a $28 million Series A led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with Lumir Growth Partners participating, and an earlier $6 million seed round led by Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures. It is not a single $34 million Series A.
Working across existing tools
Mave says its platform queries connected security and IT systems directly, rather than requiring customers first to move their telemetry into another centralized database. It describes software agents that gather evidence, investigate activity and help turn findings into detections or responses.
The company says it records the queries, evidence, reasoning and actions behind its findings. Security teams determine what can execute automatically and what needs human approval. Those are descriptions of the product’s intended operation, not independent proof that it prevents breaches or replaces a security team.
SiliconANGLE also reported the financing and described the platform as generally available. Its report said Mave plans to more than double its 20-person team, concentrating recruitment on AI research and go-to-market roles.
The operational decision
For enterprise buyers, the important distinction is between connecting evidence and authorizing action. An investigation can assemble information for an analyst to review. Disabling an identity or isolating a system can directly affect employees and business operations, making the approval boundary part of the purchasing decision.
A practical evaluation would ask which systems the platform can query, which permissions it receives and how a reviewer can trace a conclusion to supporting evidence. Teams should separately establish which response actions are permitted and who can change those rules.
That is an evaluation framework, not a finding about Mave’s effectiveness. The announcement establishes financing and expansion plans; it does not independently establish response accuracy, lower operating costs or security outcomes for a particular customer.
