Boomi said on Oct. 19, 2026, that it has acquired Elementary Data, adding software for detecting unreliable enterprise information as the integration company expands the infrastructure behind automated workflows and AI agents.
The company announcement positions the acquisition as an addition to the Boomi Enterprise Platform. Elementary provides tools for monitoring data, tracing its origins and organizing governance information. These capabilities address the information feeding business systems, rather than the intelligence of an AI model itself.
Monitoring joins integration
Boomi says the added capabilities include detecting unusual changes in data freshness, volume and quality, tracing individual fields through processing stages, and sharing data context and health with AI tools through an MCP server.
Those are company descriptions of capabilities and expected benefits, not an independent finding that the acquisition makes customer AI systems reliable.
CTech reported the acquisition on Oct. 19, identifying it as Boomi’s third Israeli purchase after Rivery and Lunar.dev. Its report says Elementary’s 17 Israel-based employees will join Boomi.
Open-source continuity
Elementary started as an open-source project in 2022. Boomi says it plans no immediate changes to the project’s repository, releases or community usage and intends to keep supporting it.
For existing users, that statement addresses near-term continuity. It is not a permanent guarantee about future licensing, pricing or integration decisions.
